The 'Wong Tai Sin Temple' in Guangzhou, always ready to fulfill your wishes

The Wong Tai Sin Temple is located in Huadi Village, Fangcun, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. The main entrance of the temple faced the street and featured a building with stone pillars and patterned decorations on the gatehouse roof. During the time when Chen Jitang was in charge of Guangdong, the old Wong Tai Sin Temple was converted into an orphanage. During the war against Japanese aggression, when Guangzhou fell, the old temple served as the headquarters for the Japanese military police. After liberation, remnants of bunkers and the bones of victims could still be seen. The rebuilt Wong Tai Sin Temple is now situated at No. 1 Guci Road in the Fangcun District. The entire temple complex covers an area of over 18,000 square meters, rectangular in shape, with a south gate and an east side gate for visitors to enter and exit. The Wong Tai Sin Temple is a tourist temple landscape that integrates traditional customs, culture, art, and tourism. The temple complex currently includes: the towering main hall of Wong Tai Sin situated on a pedestal in the center; the Guandi Temple and Doumu Temple to the left of the entrance; the God of Wealth Temple and Confucius Temple to the right of the entrance; the Lvzu Temple and Merit Hall to the left of the main hall; the Guanyin Temple to the right of the main hall; and one East and one West 'Add Fortune and Longevity' corridor each.
