Check in Guangzhou Dongshankou Rongyuan

#大湾区景点 Dongshankou in Guangzhou is similar to Wukang Road, Anfu Road in Shanghai or Lihuangpi Road in Wuhan. Currently, there are more than 1,000 old houses in Dongshankou, and about 493 of them are well preserved. This is the largest existing complex of Western-style buildings in Guangzhou. The location of "Rongyuan" - No. 10, Wayaohou Street, was originally a single-family house. Both the walls and floors in the room retain a large number of distinctive elements of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures, including floor tiles, window sills, and walls. The design team "protected" these elements and processed them according to the brand concept. Currently, the first floor is a fragrance retail space and the second floor is a cafe. In the staircase connecting the brand retail space and the coffee culture space, the design team retained its original texture, left appropriate white space on the wall, and changed the railings to the brand color. Climb up the stairs until you reach the last step of the "Escher Staircase", and then step into a virtual and real exhibition atmosphere. This "virtual and real exhibition atmosphere" is presented by multiple artists through sculptures, installations, photography and other forms, presenting the interactive relationship between human individuals and natural ecology, expressing the cultural concept of ecological protection. Ordering a cup of coffee here and quietly feeling the years of old Dongshan is another way to experience Guangzhou.
