First, Switzerland, covered in snow even in April

However, the moment I arrived at First in Switzerland, a completely different season unfolded. The moment I stepped off the cable car, I was greeted by a blanket of pure white snow, making me wonder, "Is it still winter?" Even with the changing seasons, the Swiss Alps truly felt like another world. The view from the First observation deck was truly breathtaking. The snow-capped mountains stretched endlessly, and every time a blizzard blew, the light reflected off the snow, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. Despite it being April, the abundance of snow left behind made the scenery even more dramatic. I had planned to go trekking, but the snow-covered landscape made it feel like I was walking through a winter wonderland. While the trail was slippery in some sections, it was a truly special experience, akin to Switzerland's "winter in spring." This late-winter landscape, a rare sight in Korea, made it all the more impressive. The First Cliff Walk was a must-do. The moment you look down from the steel deck onto the endless snow-covered valley below, it's truly breathtaking. It's a bit thrilling, and it's also the perfect photo spot. ✔️Warm-weather gear is a must. Korea is in the spring, but First is in the middle of winter, so be sure to pack a down jacket, gloves, and a hat. ✔️Slip-resistant shoes are recommended. The trail has a lot of snow, so there are many slippery sections. Trekking shoes with sturdy soles and crampons will be much safer. ✔️Morning time recommended. The weather is more stable in the morning than in the afternoon, and the clouds don't gather, allowing for clearer views of the snow-covered mountains. ✔️Book your cable car in advance. While there are fewer crowds than in warmer months, snow can sometimes cause delays, so it's best to purchase your tickets online in advance.
