Green Island

#0yentripFebruary2025 This is a remote island that can be reached in about 45 minutes from Cairns, Australia. We were blessed with good weather and were able to swim in the beautiful sea. The sea is shallow, and you can see fish swimming in the shallows. Free snorkeling equipment is available for rental on Green Island, so all you need to do is bring a towel and a change of clothes. However, the UV rays are very strong, so I recommend that you always apply sunscreen. I forgot to apply sunscreen on my back, and it's still red and stinging two days later.
