🍁 Jieba Village is a quiet village scattered along the banks of Basum Lake, with houses in the traditional Tibetan wooden architectural style. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the Basum Lake ticket office to Jieba Village. The village has homestays, Sichuan restaurants, barbecue restaurants, specialty stores, and small convenience stores. We stayed at the Duodeng Family Inn in Jieba Village, parked and ate, and went for a light hike to Xincuo in the afternoon. In the morning, you can go to the village's viewing platform, where you can see Basum Lake and the snow-capped mountains and villages in the same frame. It's really beautiful. 🍁 When you come to Basum Lake, be sure not to just go to the island in the middle of the lake and the viewing platform. Staying in Jieba Village is a great experience. When you enter the Basum Lake Scenic Area, if you drive, you will need to pay a deposit of ¥120, which will be refunded by the hotel after you check in. Jieba Village and Cuogao Village are both inside the Basum Lake Scenic Area, while Xincuo is a beginner-friendly hiking route on the plateau with no climbing, a hidden niche attraction with stunning scenery along the way.
