#September2025 Location: Located on the lakefront in the small town of Glenorchy, north of Queenstown. Getting there: Drive from Queenstown along Lake Wakatipu, approximately 45 minutes. Reviews: My first impression of Glenorchy Wharf & Viewpoint was its utter tranquility. The wooden wharf extends out over the lake, beneath you gaze upon the crystal-clear water, while above you gaze upon the majestic mountains in the distance. The entire scene is like a moving landscape painting. Standing here, the breeze, carrying the refreshing scent of the lake, instantly makes you forget your worries. I especially love sitting by the wharf, quietly watching the mountains reflected in the lake. The occasional passing boat creates ripples on the water, creating a gentle yet vibrant scene. Compared to the bustling atmosphere of Queenstown, this place feels more like a spiritual rest stop—simple yet deeply soothing.
