Worshiping the God of Medicine in Penang, Malaysia

Near Chew Jetty, there is another sacred shrine that is worshipped by the Chinese community in Southeast Asia, Fujian Province, and Taiwan. This deity is called Bao Sheng Dadi (保生大帝) in Mandarin or Po Sheng Tai Te in Hokkien. He is considered a god of medicine who is highly revered in Taoism.
