Along the sea promenade in Genova

#mediterranean #liguria #genoa #italy Corso Italia quickly became one of my favorite spots in Genoa, mostly because I was staying just a block away and could head there whenever I wanted. It’s a long seaside promenade that stretches between the Foce neighborhood and Boccadasse, and it’s perfect for a walk any time of day — especially early in the morning or just before sunset. The path runs right along the coast, with open views of the sea, waves crashing on the rocks, and benches where people sit and chat or just watch the water. It’s a mix of joggers, families, and people out for a slow stroll. The breeze off the water is always refreshing, and it’s one of those places where you feel like the city is breathing. Even after a full day of sightseeing, I’d often end up back there in the evening, just to unwind with a walk or sit for a bit. Having it so close by definitely made the stay feel more relaxed. It’s not touristy at all — just a proper local spot with a great atmosphere.
