Breathtakingly Beautiful Ganquan Grand Canyon

The Ganquan Grand Canyon was formed by tectonic movements that caused fractures, followed by years of erosion from mountain floods and heavy rains. It was discovered by chance in early 2017 by a geology photography enthusiast. The canyon features several scenic spots open to visitors, including Birch Tree Valley, Peony Valley, Longba Valley, and Crescent Valley. However, the Ganquan area actually has over 100 mountain valleys. Due to the lack of profitability, the Ganquan Grand Canyon Scenic Area has been unable to continue its development, leaving many routes unopened. We were guided through one of these unopened canyons by the owner of a local guesthouse, with a fee of ¥100 per person. Upon entering Forget-Worry Valley (Yingpan Mountain/Mayi River), the guesthouse owner provided a brief explanation of the geological evolution. After that, everyone was captivated by the stunning scenery, taking countless photos. The canyon is filled with intricate ravines and mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow, making it truly breathtaking. The wonders of nature are awe-inspiring, and the Ganquan Grand Canyon is undoubtedly worth a visit.
