Mount Cook and the Golden Grasslands.

Hooker Valley Track - Mount Cook Hiking Route Compared to the Tasman hiking route, this one takes about 4 hours round trip. While Tasman has a beautiful endpoint, Hooker Valley offers more stunning scenery along the way! From the entrance, you will pass three suspension bridges. After crossing the second bridge, the view becomes more expansive. Mount Cook seems to be right in front of you, paired with the golden grasslands bathed in sunlight—it's truly breathtaking. I think the best spot for photos is between the second and third bridges. Although the route is longer, with stops for photos, it feels like just over two hours. Also, remember to use the restroom at the trail entrance!
