Hike Mount Cook to find a big diamond

#Natural Landscape Tasman Glacier River After a short walk from the parking lot, there are two routes. The left one leads to Blue Lake and Tasman Glacier view. The right one leads to Tasman Lake and River. The left one is actually only a small section, about 120 minutes of climbing to reach it. At the end, you can overlook Tasman Lake. The right one leads directly to the lake, and the journey takes about an hour. Here you can take pictures of the crystal clear floating ice by the lake. It looks like a big sparkling diamond in the sun. There are large and small floating ice on the lake, and it feels like a lonely planet when you take pictures. If you don’t have enough time, it is recommended to take the trail on the right. I think it is easier to take pictures here, and the floating ice looks more shocking~ In addition, the bottom of the trail will become a gravel road, which is more difficult to walk.
