Canal City Hakata

#2024wish Canal city boasts numerous shops, restaurants (western and Japanese), food stalls, cafés and various entertainment facilities like game center, cinemas, and a theater. You can spend all day here. If you are here at an evening you might experience a fountain show. We came here many times and each time, we went to different shops and different restaurants/food stalls. The complex stands out with its size and extraordinary architecture. An artificial canal runs through the complex. On the other side of the canal, there were two hotels. Apart from the fountain pool and a floating platform in the middle of the canal, the complex impressed us with its characteristic curved architecture, balconies covered with ivy. I want to go to Fukuoka again in 2024.
