#springitinerary Kings Canyon in spring is a hidden treasure! The rivers and waterfalls were gushing with snowmelt, and the lower canyon trails were open and bursting with life. I hiked through blooming dogwoods and lush meadows, surrounded by towering cliffs and granite domes. There were hardly any people — just me, nature, and the sound of rushing water. Zumwalt Meadow was especially peaceful, framed by snowcapped peaks. #springitinerary tip: combine with a trip to Sequoia, but give Kings its own time — it’s quieter and equally epic. A raw, untouched slice of spring wilderness.
