🇵🇹 Walk along the Atlantic Coastline 📍Foz Promenade

#europeonbudget The Foz Promenade (or Promenade da Foz) is a scenic coastal walkway in Foz do Douro, Porto, Portugal. We began our stroll at Jardim do Passeio Alegre, a beautiful public garden near the mouth of the Douro River, where the historic Tram 1 terminates. Stretching along the Atlantic Ocean, the promenade offers stunning views of the sea, rocky shores, and sandy beaches. Along the way, we passed the Farol de Felgueiras lighthouse and the Fortaleza de São João da Foz, a 16th-century fort, before reaching the beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk, accompanied by the fresh sea breeze and the mesmerizing sight of waves crashing against the rocks.
