[The oldest pharmacy in the world!?] Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy

#Spring0yentrip I went to the Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy in Florence 😆 This is known as one of the oldest pharmacies in the world, founded in 1221. Originally, monks used herbs🌿 to make medicines and perfumes. When I entered the store, I was overwhelmed by the gorgeous✨️decoration, like a museum. In the interior that gives off a sense of history, there are perfumes, skin care products, and herbal teas in elegant bottles🍾. In particular, the perfume "Acqua della Regina (Queen's Water)", which has been passed down since the Renaissance era, is famous and is said to have been brought by Catherine de Medici when she married into France. All the products were attractive, but many of them were a bit high-end, so I just looked at them this time. But it was still fun just to be in the historic space! You can try out the scents, so if you visit Florence, it's definitely worth stopping by! !
