Flåm Scenic Train, Norway

#tripcom5thAnniversary The most beautiful is the slogan of the Norwegian Tourism Board. As a railway tour, it is not an exaggeration to say that it is the most beautiful. This section of the tourist train was built in 1924 and is 20.2 kilometers long, running from Flåm Pier to Myrdal. There are 20 tunnels with a total length of 5,692 meters, and the longest tunnel is 1,320 meters. The scenery along the way is charming, with mountains, lakes, meadows, etc. If you have already traveled deep into the heart of Norway, this train tour has no appeal to me, as these views can be found everywhere in Norway. However, if you only have a few days to travel in Norway, especially if the trip is mainly in cities, then the Flåm sightseeing train is definitely not to be missed. Especially the Jussfoss waterfall on the way. Even though I have almost measured the whole of Norway, I have never found a waterfall with a larger water flow than this one. There were also beautiful local dancers arranged by the waterfall.
