Santorini Oia Town Travelogue｜Oia

To find the three iconic blue-domed churches, I wandered through the winding white alleys of Oia for a long time. Every corner looked like a postcard scene, with white walls, blue domes, and the Aegean Sea weaving a dreamy picture. November is the off-season, with temperatures around 18–22°C, soft sunlight, and sea breezes. With fewer crowds, it was even better for photography, and the whole town felt peaceful and romantic. Many shops were temporarily closed, but the street scenes remained charming, and I could easily capture the classic angle of the "three blue domes" without waiting in line. Along the way, I even encountered a donkey carrying equipment, and the jingling of its bells became the cutest interlude of the trip. Although the evening is a great time to watch the sunset, I chose to admire it elsewhere, leaving only the moment when golden sunlight poured over the rooftops, becoming the gentlest impression of Oia. Finally, I dined at a town restaurant where the fresh seafood and steak portions were impressive and the taste excellent. Tips: ・In November, temperatures are around 18–22°C, cool in the morning and evening, so bring a light jacket. ・No queues for photos during the off-season; the best lighting is around 3–4 PM. ・Some shops are closed, so it’s recommended to check opening hours in advance.
