As soon as you leave Santorini Airport, the surrounding dilapidated scenery is shocking. You may think you have arrived in a poor and remote place. The experience of waiting for check-in when leaving the country is even worse. It's okay if the flight is delayed. There are only a few seats in the terminal. Most people stand, and many people lie down on the ground. People can't help but shout, "Is this really a holiday resort?" 2. The hotel arranged for me to pick up at the airport. I thought it would be a worry-free choice to go directly to the hotel. I didn't expect that the place to stay on the island was in a narrow alley and the car could not get in. Especially in Ia, the accommodation and scenery are mostly in the slate road alley on the hillside. It is too physical to climb the stairs with a suitcase. When I arrived at the hotel room, I was already exhausted. 3. Fira Town is convenient for transportation and is the bus transfer station of Santorini Island. There are buses to the airport, pier, Ia Town, Black Beach and Red Beach, etc. Except for the one-way 2.5 euros for Black Beach Perissa, all other routes are one-way 2 euros. But be sure to prepare change, because the bus only accepts cash! 4. The bus terminal is crowded with people and cars, like a chaotic farmers market. The station staff and drivers of all routes rely on shouting. The car plates to Ia, the airport, and the pier are quite eye-catching, but other routes are rarely marked. The management is relatively chaotic. Plus, I don’t understand Greek. I took a lot of trouble to take a bus to Black Beach and Red Beach. 5. The public toilets in Ia and Fira are pitifully small, but they are "charged". Someone is guarding them. You have to pay 1 euro to enter, which is caught off guard. 6.
