After passing through countless tunnels and bridges, we finally arrived at Fengning, Hebei.

It was my first time driving such a long distance, from Jinan to Fengning, Hebei, with a stopover in Langfang. I didn't expect it to be so far. The northern part of Hebei is all mountains, with a speed limit of 100 km/h on the highway. I didn't dare to drive fast, as the mountain roads are mostly curved. After passing through countless tunnels and bridges, we finally arrived there, from lush vegetation to grasslands. The purpose of this trip was to let the kids see the grasslands and ride horses. We took the kids horse riding twice. The first time was a half-hour ride with a roadside vendor, which was not bad. The second time was at a horse farm, which was supposed to be an hour, but we returned in 40 minutes. I pointed out that the time was not enough, and the guy was not happy, saying that it was not so strict. The second horse ride was not very pleasant. We went to Tianma Town, which is an amusement park on the grassland. We bought a pass, and the kids loved the grass sliding, which was unlimited. It was quite fun. The next day, we went to the Colorful Forest, which was beautiful in autumn, but I personally thought the tickets were a bit expensive. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit Baili Tianlu. Maybe next time.
