durdle door .the door of heaven

Overall a very nice visit to Durdle Door. This natural feature on the coast is set within the Lulworth Estate, so you have to pay their parking charges, which aren't cheap - we paid £6 for 4 hours parking, and there's option to park for all day which I think is £12. We went on August bank holiday - and it was very busy. That said, we arrived at the car park and was directed to a parking space... Staff in the car park were friendly and well organised. As we walked down to the foot path serving Durdle Site was very busy so we didn't stay long. Path down to Durdle Door was steep and was ok on a dry day but I can imagine it would be very slippery on a damp or wet day! Nice to visit - very much a 'tick in the box' on the bucket list.
