El Jem Tunisian Amphitheater

#Overseas travel I was delighted to visit this huge archaeological landmark in Tunisia, the El Jem Amphitheater. Dating back to the 3rd century AD, this huge Roman amphitheater was a very impressive sight. I wandered around the massive building and imagined the performances and plays that would have taken place here in the past. It was amazing to see the magnificent architectural structures and the huge stone walls. I spent a lot of time exploring this amazing archaeological site and really enjoyed visiting it.
