Inner Mongolia. Genghis Khan Mausoleum

A must do if visiting Ordos (just a 50 minute drive). A magnificent place, both in size and beauty. plenty of fascinating information and culture. Entrance ticket 90 RMB, half price for children, over 60s free. the portable guide is worth he 20RMB. although photography is not allowed inside themain building the exhibition is full of intereting relics, murals and history. After visiting the mausoleum, as you drive out there are many stables offering horse riding, traditional yurts scattered around creating a beautiful scenery, some are restaurants, other souvenir shops and there are even some offering traditional costumes photo opportunities.
