Pop-up Edinburgh

Of course, when you go to Scotland, you can’t miss the famous city - Edinburgh! Since our trip to Scotland was mainly to the High Land and Isle of Skye, and we only had two days in Edinburgh, we could only arrange to visit a few famous attractions. First, we went to Holyrood Park. I didn’t expect to have to climb a mountain on my first day in Scotland. This park is so big. Although it’s not a very high mountain, the wind is super strong. My jacket was blown away when I was taking pictures. I couldn’t catch it and it disappeared very quickly. 🙄 Looking down from here is the city of Edinburgh. I can see Edinburgh City, National Monument of Scotland, Carlton hill... On the way back, I kept an eye out to see if I could miraculously find my jacket. Unfortunately, the color of my jacket was the same green as the mountain and I couldn’t find it. 🫣 Around nine o'clock in the evening, I went to Carlton hill to watch the sunset. The scenery was beautiful and worth a visit! Although the sun had set, it was not completely dark yet. I planned to stay a little longer to watch the clock tower light up, but it was past ten o'clock and no lights were on yet, only the castle. It was a bit cold and windy, so I left and went back to the hostel without waiting to see the night view.
