Calton Hill in Edinburgh is one of those spots that’s worth the short climb for the views alone. From the top, you can see the city spread out with the castle, the Old Town, and even the coastline if the day is clear. The hill is dotted with monuments like the National Monument and Nelson Monument, which make it fun to explore while walking around. I spent time taking photos, enjoying the breeze, and just soaking in the city from above. It’s easy to reach and doesn’t take long to explore.
