Just a short walk from St Vincent Plaza Station, I was captivated by the sight of St. Patrick’s Cathedral towering in the heart of Melbourne, its stone towers illuminated by the city lights. The Gothic architecture, bathed in light, seemed to freeze time itself. On weekends, the cathedral is primarily used for weddings. During open hours, stepping inside reveals a serene atmosphere filled with the sound of a pipe organ and the colorful light filtering through stained glass windows. It’s a majestic and tranquil space for prayer that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended for both nighttime strolls and daytime sightseeing.
