A magnificent covered bridge.

Dujiangyan Nanqiao Bridge was first built in 1878, originally named Pujiao Bridge. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times, including after the 2008 Sichuan earthquake. The bridge is a traditional covered bridge, with colorful paintings, carved beams, folk sculptures, and couplets. It fully displays the traditional architectural style of western Sichuan and is an integral part of the Dujiangyan World Heritage Site.
