Dongyang｜Hengdian Guangzhou Street·Hong Kong Street

Guangzhou Street·Hong Kong Street, located on Ming and Qing West Road, Hengdian Town, Dongyang City, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, is one of the five sub-scenic spots of Hengdian World Studios. It is also the first scenic spot built in Hengdian, consisting of Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street. It was built in 1996 to assist director Xie Jin in filming 'The Opium War' and is the birthplace of Hengdian World Studios, recreating the scenes of Guangzhou and Hong Kong around 1840. The main attractions include Victoria Harbour, St. John's Church, Queen's Road, and the Clock Tower. The entire scenic area is a microcosm of the street scenes of Guangzhou and Hong Kong around the time of the Opium War, reflecting mid-19th century Guangzhou and early 20th century Hong Kong.
