A Fairytale Forest You Must Visit in December! Huanghai Forest Park, Don't Miss It!

Last year, my friends strongly recommended the redwood forest in Huanghai Forest Park. This year, I planned a two-day trip early and regretted not coming earlier! The scenery here is unbelievably beautiful, with layers of colorful forests, dazzling colors, and endless beauty... These words are not enough to describe the beauty of this niche tourist destination! 📍Location: Huanghai Forest Park, Dongtai City, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province 🚗Transportation: It takes 3 hours to drive from Nanjing, or you can take a high-speed train to Dongtai Station. The Mercure Hotel in the scenic area has 4 shuttle buses every day. 🎫Ticket: CNY 50/person 🏞Regular Route: Metasequoia Corridor - Forest Train - Aerial Walkway - Misty Forest - Forest Eye - Wooden Forest - Wooden House Community ⚠️Note: The scenic area is very large, about 8 km in total, and it takes 2-3 hours to walk. There are rental services for multi-person bicycles and electric vehicles. 📷Popular Check-in Spots: • 🚂Forest Train: Every half hour, it shuttles through the picturesque metasequoia forest, loved by both adults and children! • 🌳Aerial Walkway: A suspended walkway with a wide view, offering a panoramic view of the vast forest, a perfect place for photography! • 🌫️Misty Forest: A great place for aerial photography, like the misty forest in the Harry Potter movies. Climb to the top of the Forest Eye for a great view! • 🏡Wooden House Community: A highlight of the scenic area, with neatly arranged wooden houses, like a dream kingdom in a fairy tale world. 💡TIPS: 1️⃣The scenic area opens at 8:30 and closes at 17:00, but you can enter early. 2️⃣The parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area is free and equipped with charging piles. 3️⃣I stayed at the Mercure Hotel in the scenic area, which is in good condition and a 10-minute walk away. There is a shuttle bus service, and I want to try the small wooden house in the scenic area next time. 📢During this two-day trip, I went to the nearby Yeludang on the first day and watched elk for free all afternoon, which was so exciting! The food was also impressive, with steamed eggs with shrimp, raw marinated white shrimp, fish soup noodles, and radish clam soup, all at incredibly low prices.
