Many friends have probably seen photos like the one in Figure 4. This shooting angle is at Feilai Temple, the "best check-in spot" for Meili Snow Mountain. In the secret realm of Yubeng, there is also one of "China's Top Ten Classic Hiking Trails," which revolves around this "most beautiful snow mountain." The route we just completed during the 8th Meili Snow Mountain Pilgrimage Month is exactly this trail. After bidding farewell to the colorful autumn forests, Yubeng is about to enter a "world of snow." If the sky is clear and the sun shines on the golden mountain, Meili Snow Mountain appears even more sacred. In winter, Meili Snow Mountain is covered in silver, showcasing pure beauty. ✅ Ice Lake One of the important pilgrimage points for local Tibetans during their mountain circumambulation, and a must-visit scenic spot on the Yubeng hike. In early winter, part of the lake surface freezes first, allowing you to see its original emerald water coexist with ice, as if witnessing the passage of time; in deep winter, the Ice Lake may be completely frozen, entering a state of slumber, appearing even more peaceful. ✅ Divine Waterfall Another important pilgrimage point for local Tibetans during their mountain circumambulation and a must-visit spot on the Yubeng hike. Although the water flow is smaller in winter, this place has never been just a single "waterfall" scene; it also features the towering snow mountains nearby and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. In the hearts of Tibetans, circling around Ice Lake and Divine Waterfall, gazing up at the snow mountains, or feeling the wind blowing the prayer flags are all different forms of pilgrimage and blessing.
