🏡 Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkol Khiri, also known as Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkol Khiri Samakkidham, was established in 1977. Located on the hill of Doi Mon Ton, this temple showcases a blend of Lanna-inspired architecture, incorporating distinctive features from various temples into its design. Key attractions within the temple include: 🏠 The Lanna-style ordination hall, which houses a replica of the Phra Buddha Chinnarat. 🙏 Various Buddha statues, such as the replica of Phra Chao Kao Tue from Wat Suan Dok, the reclining Buddha, and Burmese-style adorned Buddha statues, including Luang Por Thanjai. 🛕 Phra That Baramee 30 Tat: This structure features an octagonal base with two tiers. The first tier is adorned with plaster elephants alternating with statues of Pacceka Buddhas. The second tier houses seated and standing Buddha statues. The third tier consists of a group of small round stupas—24 small, 7 medium, and 1 large—totaling 32 stupas. 🙏 At the eastern staircase entrance, there are statues of lions and a large reclining Buddha. 🖼 The cloister features mural paintings depicting Buddhist history and local folktales. 🏘 Suwannahonkam Museum: Constructed entirely of golden teak wood in a Lanna-style design, the museum boasts 101 large teak pillars.
