Phra That Suton Mongkhonkiri Temple

Wat Phra That Suton Mongkhon Khiri, Phrae Province is one of the most beautiful Lanna art centers in Thailand. There is a large reclining Buddha in the reclining position, a unique Burmese Buddhist art that can be seen from afar. The face is sweet, the robe is beautifully flowing, the soles of both feet are carved with auspicious patterns, and the body is beautifully proportioned. There is a beautiful ordination hall. Behind the ordination hall, there are 30 chedis. The main stupa and surrounding stupas are covered with golden gold, beautifully shining. There is an octagonal base with two layers. The first layer is supported by stucco elephants alternating with molded statues of the Pacceka Buddha. The second layer houses seated and standing Buddhas.
