Walking street in Fukuoka

This is a pedestrian street called Dazaifu Monzenmachi. This street is a pedestrian street between the train station and Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The most popular local sweet here is Umegae Mochi, which is grilled mochi with red bean filling. We tried it and it was very chewy. It is even better when eaten hot.
