Yuanbao Mountain, my hand was pricked by a chestnut bur

At 7:30 in the morning, I left the hotel. I saw on the map that there was a place nearby called Yuanbao Mountain, which should allow me to climb up and overlook the entire city, so I walked towards the mountain, less than 2km away. Soon, I arrived at the square at the foot of the mountain, where elderly people in bright and uniform clothing were dancing in the square, each with a relaxed and joyful expression. I followed the mountain path, passing through a small grove on my way up. The ground under my feet was soft. The trees by the road and the grass on the ground were covered with a thick layer of white frost, indicating that the air here is particularly moist. I had been here several times in the summer before, without any significant feeling, but compared to my last two weeks in Inner Mongolia and Changchun, the winter air in Dandong is obviously warm and moist, very comfortable. Following the winding dirt path up the mountain, sometimes it was very muddy, with the ground on both sides covered with fallen chestnut bur shells. It's just that the chestnuts inside had already been eaten by squirrels. The palm-sized chestnut burs, full of spikes, unconsciously made my hands feel prickly and numb. After checking, it seems that the spikes of the chestnut burs may contain a slight toxicity... I've learned my lesson and dare not touch them again. I know that I have once again wandered to the right place at the right time. When I was about to reach the summit, I saw someone digging the earth, red soil. I asked him what it was for, and he replied, 'The soil contains iron, I'm digging it to use for planting flowers.' At the top of the mountain, due to the obstruction of trees and the mist not yet dispersed by the sunlight, I was unable to overlook the city and North Korea across the river. Time to go down the mountain, walk to the riverside, and feel the river breeze.
