Dali – Lakeside Escape longest bike ride !!!

We spent a weekend in Dali and absolutely loved it! The weather was perfect, and the atmosphere around Erhai Lake was just amazing. We did a day trip along the lake to the little town of Xizhou — so charming and full of life. We rented mechanical bikes and rode about 55 km — such a beautiful route with views all along the way, and plenty of coffee stops to keep us going! The old town of Dali is definitely touristy, especially on the weekend (you can feel it!), but still really peaceful and full of character. Lots of great restaurant options too. A perfect blend of adventure and chill.
