The Ming Dynasty traveler Xu Xiake once marveled: "There are countless mountains in the world, but only here do they form a forest." The peaks here take on various shapes—some resemble generals, others the Bagua (Eight Trigrams), and some even look like a gathering of dragons🐉, leaving visitors in awe! 📸Photo Spots: 1️⃣ General Peak: The iconic landmark of Wanfenglin, a solitary peak standing tall among the forest of mountains, as if a general guarding the land. 2️⃣ Bagua Fields: A natural formation of farmland arranged in the pattern of the Bagua, a wonder of Wanfenglin. From a high vantage point, the layout strikingly resembles the Bagua diagram. 3️⃣ Nahui Village: A village brimming with Buyi ethnic charm, featuring ancient houses, clear rivers, and golden rice fields, creating a picturesque rural scene. 4️⃣ Western Peak Forest: The peculiarly shaped peaks here, each unique, make for stunning natural landscape photography. 5️⃣ Tiankeng (Sinkholes): The sinkhole landscapes in Wanfenglin are equally distinctive, with bottomless pits and steep cliffs surrounding them. 6️⃣ Viewing Platforms: Scattered throughout the scenic area, these platforms offer breathtaking views of rolling mountains and misty clouds. Fanjingshan: A Spiritual Haven Beyond the Mortal World Stepping into Fanjingshan feels like entering an ethereal fairyland. The undulating mountains fade in and out of the mist, resembling an ink-wash painting slowly unfolding. Climbing along the winding mountain paths, you're surrounded by lush primeval forests. Towering trees intertwine their branches, with sunlight filtering through to cast golden beams. The crisp chirping of birds echoes through the woods, adding vitality to the serene mountainscape. 🌸Floral Extravaganza The blooming season of the Baili Azaleas typically runs from mid-March to early May, when the mountains are awash with azaleas in full bloom, creating a veritable sea of flowers🌺! Reds blaze like fire, pinks glow like sunset clouds, and whites shimmer like snow—all blending together as if nature overturned a palette, stunningly beautiful. The azaleas come in various shapes, some with layered petals, others light and airy, each vying for attention. 📍Must-Visit Spots The Pudi and Jinpo scenic areas are the heart of Baili Azaleas and not to be missed! In Pudi, strolling along the viewing trails immerses you in a floral embrace—an unparalleled experience.
