Traveling in the Czech Republic

REVIEW OF INDEPENDENT TRAVEL IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC (PRAGUE – ČESKÝ KRUMLOV) The Czech Republic boasts classic architecture and reasonably priced food. I spent 4 days and 3 nights there and absolutely loved Prague, often referred to as the "Heart of Europe." PRE-TRIP PREPARATION Schengen Visa: Apply at the Czech Embassy. Flight tickets: Round-trip Hanoi – Prague costs around 18–20 million VND per person. European travel SIM: Choose either a 20GB eSIM or a physical SIM card. Light jacket & umbrella: The weather changes quickly. TRANSPORTATION Prague: Trams and metro are very convenient; you can buy 24-hour or 72-hour tickets. Český Krumlov: Take a bus from Prague (about 3 hours). It’s a small village, so walking is the main mode of transport. CHECK-IN SPOTS Prague: Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Prague Castle. Český Krumlov: Český Castle, cobblestone streets, the winding Vltava River. FOOD & DRINKS Czech-style Goulash (beef stew served with bread). Trdelník (a rolled pastry coated with sugar and cinnamon). Famous Pilsner beer.
