Colmar village, France

Colmar, nicknamed Petite Venice, or Little Venice... A town I only read about in Andersen's fairy tales when I was young. There are many pretty houses like pictures on every street where familiar pictures from picture books go around. That's probably why May...is the best time to travel Europe, and it's packed with tourists. As you walk around Colmar, you'll find cheese shops, antique shops, prop shops, and fancy shops.. The most unique feature, Noel Store - a Christmas prop shop - is full of cute Christmas props... My friend who lives in France says this place is prettier than the German Christmas village. Anyway, it's fun to slowly walk around the shops here. In addition, the water flowing through the entire town, befitting its nickname Little Venice, brings another kind of romance. It is very similar to the water flowing in ancient cities such as Lijiang, Shuhegu, and Suzhou in Yunnan Province, China, but since this is France, the Western houses are in contrast.
