Just explored the Grand Canyon in Zhangjiajie — and honestly, it’s one of the most peaceful and stunning places I’ve been to in China. The water is this surreal emerald green, super clear and calm. You walk along these wooden walkways right next to the river, surrounded by dense forest and cliffs. There’s even a small wooden house by the river that looks like it came out of a Studio Ghibli film. Took a slow boat ride in the middle of the canyon — no engine noise, just drifting quietly through the mountains. Pure Zen. There’s a hidden waterfall too, cascading down the rock face.
