I love hotels in Chongqing even more now!!!

Conrad Chongqing: A great choice for a romantic getaway I finally had a free weekend, so my partner and I booked a stay at Conrad Chongqing, which had just opened, and enjoyed some quality time together. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness The room was well soundproofed and had good blackout curtains, creating a private and romantic atmosphere. The hotel opened in the middle of this year, so everything was new. Although I didn't specifically check the cleanliness, I assume it was good based on the fact that the hotel is new and the overall service experience was good. 🏘️️️Room type/Layout I checked in at 4 pm and was upgraded for free. I stayed in a 270-degree view room on the 40th floor, which required a transfer to another elevator. The room was well laid out and divided into different areas, which was much better than the basic room type. The different areas were independent of each other, which met my needs well. 🛌Supplies/Facilities The hotel facilities were brand new. The elevator was fast, which caused my ears to pop, but it didn't shake. The toiletries were by Byredo, the hairdryer was a Dyson instead of a Laifen, and the shower produced hot water in 3 seconds, which was great for someone like me who is afraid of the cold. The double bed was 2 meters wide and faced the floor-to-ceiling windows. The corner sofa faced the TV, but unfortunately, I couldn't cast my phone screen to it. The first round of the mini bar was free and included nuts, cookies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, Tianfu Cola, Coca-Cola, and TWG tea. The tea set was the same green color as the hotel, which was beautiful and delicate. The room had a large bathtub by the window, and it was very relaxing to drink something from the mini bar while taking a bath. There were lots of cute bear dolls in the public areas of the hotel. There was a subway station and the Shanghai City shopping area nearby, which made it convenient to travel and shop. 💗Other tips 1. Service experience: The front desk staff were professional and efficient, and they helped me check in quickly and upgraded my room for free. I asked the hotel staff to bring me some ice cubes when I was drinking champagne in the evening, and they responded quickly. 2. Dining experience: The breakfast the next day didn't have scrambled eggs and there wasn't a large variety of food, but the wontons were delicious and the pastries were good. 3. Suitable for: Whether you're traveling or celebrating an anniversary or other special occasion, this hotel is worth staying at. It creates a romantic atmosphere that will help you forget your worries for a while.
