Mae Ya Waterfall, Chiang Mai Province

Mae Ya Waterfall is located in Doi Inthanon National Park, Chiang Mai Province. It is a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall that is a large water curtain. The water flows beautifully from a height down the hill. 🌿 Key highlights 👉Height: About 260 meters (another source says about 250–280 m.) and up to 100 meters wide during the rainy season. 👉Multi-tiered waterfall: It is a water curtain and a natural stone staircase. It is suitable for taking pictures, especially long-exposure. 👉Close to nature: Although it is located outside the main gate of the park, it is not as crowded with tourists as other waterfalls. 🚗Travel & Access Distance from Chiang Mai: It takes 1–2 hours by car or motorcycle (about 60–90 km.) via Highway 108 and then onto a narrow local road. #Enjoy the side of the road #Get a discount without relying on luck

Chiang Mai trip 3-5 October

ออกไปใช้ชีวิตสะ
Huay Keaw Waterfall

This trip to Chiang Mai was so much fun. We spent 4 days and 3 nights on this trip (I'll start by saying that I'm an introvert, so I chose the days and times I thought there would be fewer tourists, lol). 1. Start the trip by visiting Baan Kang Wat, a popular spot on TT. I recommend going around 10:00 AM when there aren't many people around, making it easier to take photos and avoiding people in the crowds. 2. Mae Ya Waterfall: We went during a storm and it was raining, but luckily, it wasn't raining too hard that day. Although the water wasn't as clear as it looked online, it was incredibly beautiful in person. 3. Huay Kaew Waterfall: There was no entrance fee when we went. We just walked a short distance and saw the waterfall. There were a lot of people sleeping by the stream, and the atmosphere was amazing. 4. Wat Pha Lat: It's so beautiful! The temple grounds are shady and peaceful. P.S. Honestly, I just wanted a change of scenery, lol. But since we were going all the way, I thought I'd give it a try. We found all 4 of these places on the spot, without any pre-planned plans. But I think it's nice not to have to plan anything. There's no pressure about where to go today. #ChiangMaiTravel #Natural attractions #House next to the temple #Mae Ya Waterfall #Huai Kaew Waterfall #Phalad Temple
