Beauty & Size • Mae Ya Waterfall is a 30-tiered waterfall, reaching over 260 meters high. • During high water levels (such as during the rainy season), the waterfall's tiers can reach as wide as 100 meters, creating a dramatic curtain of water cascading down the cliff. • The surrounding nature is lush, with mature trees, moss, and ferns, and the cool, clear water is perfect for those seeking relaxation and fresh air. Accessibility & Difficulties • Driving your own car is the most convenient option – the main road is fairly well-maintained. After entering Chom Thong District, the road can be rough or narrow in some sections, but overall, it's accessible. • Parking is available right in front of the waterfall entrance. Park and walk about 500–600 meters from the parking lot to the waterfall. • The walkway to the waterfall itself isn't particularly challenging, but it can be quite slippery, especially after rain. Be careful and wear shoes with good grip. Impressive Features • The sound of flowing water, the smell of the forest air, and the coolness of the water combine to help reset your fatigue. Once you reach the waterfall, you can clearly see the large waterfall, and the curtain of water flowing down the cliff is especially impressive. • During the morning or weekdays, there aren't as many people.
