💖Fukuoka🇯🇵💖 Learn more about the war at the Tachiarai Peace Memorial Museum

A historical museum in Chikuzen-machi, Asakura-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture Chikuzen Town Tachiarai Peace Memorial Museum☀️ About 1,800 wartime documents are on display, including the former Imperial Japanese Army Type 97 fighter plane and the former Imperial Japanese Navy Zero fighter plane. An aviation school also existed at the time, and it was a relay base for the kamikaze squadrons, sending off many young kamikaze pilots to Chiran and other places. The fighter planes (Zero fighter) in the museum are impressive and overwhelming. There are booths displaying documents from the time of the great air raids, letters (wills) written by kamikaze pilots to their families, and a booth displaying the remains of an actual Zero fighter, making this a peace memorial museum with many exhibits worth seeing.
