Stunning Views - Chicago Athletic Association, part of Hyatt

The hotel was formerly the Chicago Athletic Association, a members-only club that opened in 1893. After closing in 2007, it underwent a long and thorough restoration and renovation before reopening as a hotel in 2015. Unlike many American hotels that are designed with only slight modifications to the original building, this hotel has been carefully renovated from the lobby to the guest rooms, transforming this historic building into a wonderful vintage boutique hotel. Although the hotel has removed the pool from the original building, it has retained the historic basketball court, Stagg Court, which can be visited or reserved for use. However, it is a bit of a pity that although the hotel is named after a sports association, the gym equipment is not very complete, which is a small drawback. Overall, it is a very unique and eye-catching hotel, and the exquisite decor is worth experiencing.
