Monthathar Waterfall, Chiang Mai

Montha Than Waterfall or San Pa Yang Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. It is 730 meters above sea level and has 9 levels in total. Sai Yoi Waterfall is the highest level. It flows from Huai Khok Ma and joins Montha Than Waterfall, passing Pha Ngeap, Wang Bua Ban, Huai Kaew Waterfall, before flowing into the Ping River. The source of the waterfall comes from the Montha tree, which is a tall tree with white flowers and large green leaves that can be commonly seen along the roadside. The water that falls down separates into 2 small streams and flows into a basin before passing through a stone platform to the first level. It is about 3 kilometers from Huai Kaew Waterfall. It is as beautiful as its name. The waterfall has 9 levels in total and is located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, Chiang Mai Province. There is little water but it is very cool.
