Worshiping Rahu in Chiang Mai

Since last evening, the area around the Ganesha Shrine at Chiang Mai Arcade has been bustling with locals who came to worship Rahu. Tonight marks the astrological shift of Rahu, and devotees are offering black items in sets of 8 or 12 as part of the ritual. Worship kits are available for 199 THB and 299 THB, which can be placed in front of the Rahu statue along with reciting prayers. According to beliefs, this practice is said to bring positive changes to one's life. The Rahu worship ceremony is being held here.
