The Burmese-Tai Yai Art Temple in Chiang Mai City

Wat Pa Pao, located on Maneenopparat Road near Si Phum Corner in Chiang Mai, is the first Tai Yai temple in Wiang Chiang Mai. Inside the temple, there are beautiful and traditional Burmese-Tai Yai style pagodas, vihara, and palaces. The area around the temple is a community of Tai Yai people, with shops selling food and items related to the Tai Yai way of life.
