Visit Wat Phra Nang Din

Wat Phra Nang Din is located in Ban Phra Nang Din, Village No. 7, Wiang Subdistrict, Chiang Kham District, Phayao Province. It is a temple with the principal Buddha image of the temple without a pedestal like the principal Buddha image in other temples. People used to build a pedestal and invite the principal Buddha image to be enshrined. However, it turned out that no matter how hard they tried, they could not lift it up, so it was called Phra Chao Nang Din. It is assumed that this Buddha image was created since the time when the Lord Buddha was still alive, or more than 2,500 years old. It took 1 month and 7 days to create. #Wat Phra Nang Din
