For Spring Festival, I chose Fuxian Lake over Hainan and Yunnan!

Everyone is heading to Sanya for Spring Festival, but I wanted to do something different. I decided to go to Yunnan, because Yunnan is like a miniature world! Spending Spring Festival in Yunnan is amazing! · If you want to avoid the crowds, see beautiful scenery, and enjoy a comfortable temperature, I highly recommend Fuxian Lake. I suggest driving there. If you're coming from another province, you can rent a car at the airport or high-speed rail station. You can book a car online in advance. After all, there are no tolls during Spring Festival, so it's a great deal. · Book your accommodation in advance. If you don't want to plan your trip and have a big enough budget, just book a room at the Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake Resort. During Spring Festival, the prices of homestays and hotels are high, so you might as well stay at the Hilton. · The hotel has many activities from New Year's Eve to the sixth day of the first lunar month, such as lion dances, paper cutting, bonfire parties, and live music. There are many activities and a strong festive atmosphere! If you want a New Year's Eve dinner with a sense of ceremony, you can eat at the hotel, but you need to book in advance. If you go at the last minute, you might not be able to get a table. Of course, if you're not with a big family, there are many dining options. The hotel offers: hot pot buffet, rice noodles, stone pot fish, and hand pilaf, all of which are delicious Yunnan specialties. · Staying at the Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake Resort is a great choice for a holiday and a vacation. · If you want to leave the hotel and experience the festive atmosphere in Yunnan, you can go to these two places: · Fengshan Park in Chengjiang County, which has folk art activities such as Spring Festival performances, Spring Festival garden parties, and dragon dance competitions from January 29 to January 31. Guanglong Town Night Market, which has Spring Festival performances and food stalls with Yunnan and Chengjiang specialties. There are many people and a strong festive atmosphere. · There are many attractions along the coast of Fuxian Lake. If you're driving, you can visit them one by one. Here are some places worth visiting: Wanzi Valley, Mingxing Fish Cave, Luchong Scenic Area, Red Beach, Fuhai Bay Wetland Park, Sun Mountain Town Xi'an Club, Xiaowan Village, and S Bay. · You can also take a boat or sailboat on Fuxian Lake. There are beaches by the lake, so it's almost like going to Sanya, haha! · For a reverse Spring Festival trip, bring your family to Fuxian Lake!
