🔥 When the "Bamboo Dream" flame of the World Games ignited at Chengdu's Wuhou Shrine, it marked a profound fusion of the Three Kingdoms' cultural ethos of patriotism and strategic wisdom with the athletic spirit of the World Games. 👉 On the afternoon of July 26, the fourth leg of the torch relay for the 12th World Games in 2025 was held at the west gate plaza of the Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum. Themed "The Splendor of the Three Kingdoms," the event showcased the rich heritage and modern vitality of Wuhou Shrine, a sacred site of the Three Kingdoms, through a blend of history and modernity. ✨️ The Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum, designated as one of the first national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council in 1961, was recognized as a national first-class museum in 2008 and named the "National Research Center for Three Kingdoms Culture" by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in 2016. It is the only shrine in China dedicated to the joint worship of Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, and other heroes of the Shu Han kingdom, and it stands as the most influential Three Kingdoms heritage museum globally.
