Hotels with Bluetooth speakers in rooms are common, but I've never seen speakers embedded in the ceiling with a knob that plays white noise when turned. ➖ PALACE HOTELS, Langriz Hotel, a mid-to-high-end brand under the Hong Kun Group, caught my attention while browsing an OTA platform. Just looking at the official photos, I loved the style—fresh and elegant, with complete amenities and attractive pricing. So I chose the branch closest to me among the many in Chengdu, planning to check it out over the weekend. Later, when chatting with the front desk manager after arrival, I discovered that registered members get even better prices and occasional special promotions, so I signed up for membership on the spot. ➖ First, the lobby: modern style paired with Morandi color scheme decorations, overall bright and elegant, fresh and natural. Besides the tea break area, there's also a pillow wall offering various functional pillows for guests to choose from. I stayed in a Deluxe Large room, about 30 square meters, with greenery outside the bay window, smart room controls, separate wet and dry areas, a TV with screen casting, a mini fridge, mini bar, drip coffee—everything you need—plus special tea sets incorporating Chinese elements. My favorite areas were the entryway and washing area, with an extra-large mirror with light strips + a wall-mounted detailed makeup mirror combo that's truly female-friendly, plus the warm light from the corridor lamps, making you feel instantly calm upon entering the room. ➖ The hotel's amenities are also very complete, with the gym and laundry room combined, both with excellent ventilation and lighting. Breakfast is 70% Western and 30% Chinese, with diverse noodle station options and freshly ground coffee available for takeaway. ➖ After staying one night, I fully experienced Langriz Hotel's advocated "new minimalism" and the quality experience this brand brings to consumers in multiple aspects—aesthetics, sensory experience, functionality, and price. I'll definitely return, though for the sake of novelty, I'll probably try a different branch next time.
